STEM Education Associate II

Molly Kuzmich is a STEM education professional based in Birmingham, Alabama, with a background in biology, curriculum development, and science outreach. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama in 2021. As a STEM Education Associate II at Southern Research, Molly develops and leads hands-on STEM programs for schools across Alabama, creating engaging curriculum, coordinating field trips, and managing summer camps for high school students. Molly is an experienced science communicator who has presented at the Alabama Science Teachers Association Conference, A+ College Ready Workshops, and the 2025 National Association of Biology Teachers Conference. She has also served as a guest host and episode writer for the Emmy-nominated Alabama STEM Explorers on Alabama Public Television and has led major outreach initiatives, including Southern Research’s DNA Day. Her professional interests include STEM equity, experiential learning, and curriculum development. She is passionate about making science accessible, engaging, and inspiring for students and educators alike.
